Nenagh LTC would like to Congratulate Club members Lena O’Connor, Deirdre McSherry and Frank O’Keeffe on their selections to represent Ireland in the Young Senior World Championships next May. The Club wishes you all the best and enjoy the experience.
On Friday December 11th, the tennis club hosted a charity night in aid of Nenagh Special Summer Camp. The night began with fun/timed tennis and some excellent spot prizes were given to players in different groups. Club President Anne-Marie Darcy, on behalf of the club, extended a warm welcome to John Clarke and Catherine Hayes of NSSC. She went on to thank Brid Coffey and Anne Fitzpatrick for organising the tennis. She also thanked all the members for playing the tennis, don…ating money and helping out on the night.
A huge thank you to local businesses who gave raffle prizes. Maria Sheedy-Centra, Anna Kelly’s Chemist and Proctor&Gamble donated hamlets. Tesco, Flynns Bistro & Siobhan Brady-The Nail and Beauty Bar gave vouchers. In total the club raised €1,000 for NSSC. Many thanks to everyone who donated to this great local cause.
The club wishes all its members a very Happy Christmas and peaceful New Year.
Nenagh Teams continue to make strong progress with the last of the fixtures before Christmas concluding at the weekend. Well done to all teams who’ve been putting in the hours practicing and representing the Club.
Teams are encouraged to review their Home Fixtures due in the New Year and ensure they are reserving their courts in a timely fashion
