The recent Nenagh LTC club championships once again saw a number of new faces prominent on finals night, reflecting the increasing popularity of the game locally. Slattery Tiles, Springfort Retail Park, Nenagh was again a generous sponsor of the championships which attracted a big entry.
Club Officers Margaret Folan and David Hackett thanked Loreto and Conor for their support. Loreto Slattery, herself a highly ranked player, presented the finalists with their trophies.
Among those prominent at the business end of things on finals day were Lena Grace, Richelle Treacy, Eamonn Murtagh, Pauline Ryan, Ciara Dwan, Michael Ryan and recent newcomer Ciara Cairns, all of whom won 2 events.
The hectic Autumn programme continues for the next 2 weeks with the Tadhg O’Flynn sponsored ‘Classic Team’ event which will run from Mon 10th Oct – Fri 21st Oct (weekend of 15th/16th Oct included). Fixtures will be posted in the coming days so please watch out on Facebook, Online and Noticeboard.
